A friend of Alice's has joined me in preparing for the festivities- and plans to introduce another friend later today- but first, here is more than a glimpse at her.

It's hot here, unusually hot for a Heartland June... so we've retreated into the cool twilight and deep purple cover of night to stay cool.
SO what does that mean? Well that there's more to come later in our day. But since you are here, have a cup of tea,
and a treat from the table- there's magic there...
Have a stroll up the path to the persimmon tree cirlce (stay in the shade to stay cool (ish) )...
and relax on your journey through the Mad Tea Party.
